Annual Civil War Baseball Game
Members of the 78th PVI, Co. F continued its yearly tradition of playing a Civil War baseball game. Although the teams played in modern clothes, all of the rules and gear used were of the 1860s era. Teams representing the Freeport Blues and the Armstrong Rifles played a six-inning game which ended in a smashing 12-2 victory for the Blues. The power-hitting of the Blues, including a three-run homerun by Eric Cocco, was the difference this year.
