Buffalo Twp. Community Day

  May 18, 2008

The 78th participated in the annual Buffalo Township Community Day on Sunday, May 18th.  The annual event, held at Lernerville Speedway, is a great way for members of the community to experience local crafters, artisans, and civic organizations.  Each year, the group takes part in the event to promote awareness of endangered Civil War battlefields and to speak to those with an interest in Civil War history.

A Valley News Dispatch reporter (far left) stopped by the booth and interviewed our members.  A very nice write-up of the event (and of the group) appeared in the newspaper the following week.
