Annual
Gettysburg Trip
April 18-20, 2008 at Gettysburg, PA
Members of the 78th Pa made the annual trek to experience the Gettysburg battlefield in all of its spring glory. The group was able to view the new visitors’ center and had a wonderful battlefield tour with the renowned guide James Archer. Mr. Archer’s talk focused on the East Cemetery Hill battle on the night of July 2nd and Culp’s Hill on the 2nd and 3rd of July, 1863. The group capped the memorable weekend with a nostalgic dinner at the historic Fairfield Inn.
