Memorial Day Ceremony

May 29, 2006 at Freeport , PA  

The members of the 78^th PVI, Co. F were once again proud to take part in the Memorial Day ceremony in our group’s hometown of Freeport .  The highlight of this year’s ceremony was the marking of the 60^th anniversary of the founding of the Freeport VFW.  State Representative Jeff Pyle was also present for the ceremony.  The day was a bit warm and humid, but a nice crowd was present for the occasion.  After the ceremony in town, members of our group went to the cemetery for our annual dedications there.
