Memorial Day Ceremony

May 29, 2006 at Freeport , PA

The members of the 78th PVI, Co. F were once again proud to take part in the Memorial Day ceremony in our group’s hometown of Freeport .  The highlight of this year’s ceremony was the marking of the 60th anniversary of the founding of the Freeport VFW.  State Representative Jeff Pyle was also present for the ceremony.  The day was a bit warm and humid, but a nice crowd was present for the occasion.  After the ceremony in town, members of our group went to the cemetery for our annual dedications there.
