Common Sense Resolution

The 78th PVI, Co. F has voted to sign and pledge its support to the new Common Sense Resolution.  In continuing our organization's and our regiment's support for quality reenactments and raising preservation awareness and funds, we will try when and where ever possible to adhere to these standards.  The 78th PVI, Co. F realizes the importance of maintaining authenticity and safety at events while attempting to recreate battles as accurately as possible for us and the public.  Over a dozen organizations, from mess size groups to entire regiments, have currently signed this declaration.

Mission Statement:   To create a tool to build an environment in Civil War Reenacting in which history is first, last and foremost. To foster ownership of events, proceeds, scenarios and schedules for the betterment of the hobby for the men in the ranks, the public and each other.
